Wonderful lunch food menu and service. Brought my wife here for the first time as a late Christmas earley Valentine's day gift. Very happy with the atmosphere and how people handled them selves here. Definitely willing to come back.

Wonderful experience here! The food and service were great. We came on New Years Eve and they had a special fix price menu, which you could also order items from “a la carte.” The special butternut squash bisque and risotto were outstanding, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

We had lunch at Irises and it was excellent! There are many menu options including creative dishes, vegetables, gluten free options, wines, beers on tap, etc. Attentive, friendly service.

First time we have eaten out for Thanksgiving. Delightful atmosphere, pleasant wait staff. The food was wonderful...the sage roasted fall vegetables were a great surprise, turkey was tender, a good assortment of offerings. My husband was really happy with the beef. Thank you for being there for us!!! We plan to return.

Delightful and unique!

Quite a nice surprise we stumbled on for dinner. Back in Plattsburgh after more than 30 years away for a reunion and needing a nice restaurant for dinner with some good friends we hadn't seen in a long time and we founds Irises. Food was delicious portions generous, especially the salads. The bruschetta plate was VERY nice -- excellent complement of flavors and textures. The restaurant doesn't look exceptional from the outside, a few tables for seating on a nice evening, but behind a concrete jersey barrier. The service was also a little slow, but that may have been deliberate to allow us time to savor the experience...and we were in no hurry. If you are looking for a nice meal with an artistic gastronomic menu, then I strongly recommend you give Irises a try.

Love this place! A lot of their menu is or can be gluten free and they have a really yummy paleo roll, so if you eat like me, this is the place for you! They also do take-out, helpful when you’re busy. I’ve had 2 different soups there that were amazing. Try the turkey club on the paleo bun, mmmm.

Had a wonderful meal paired with a reasonably priced fantastic cabernet suggested by our server. Fresh local food, great ambiance and fabulous service. A definite must try!

Visited early in the evening on New Years Eve and had wonderful martinis, however,, despite it being only moderately busy, it was very loud inside.

Amazing pork and fried califlower tacos!

Amazing place the sashimi avacdo appetizer was the best I ever had. And I love sushi and am scared to order it unless I’m at a sushi restaurant. At first glance it looks like an average restaurant but the food is anything but average. Shrimp cocktail they were huge. The French dip sandwich ridiculous. Stephanie who looks like pink the singer was amazing.

Always an amazing experience. I love that they are so understanding for those who follow a gluten free diet, it makes eating out so much easier and pleasant.

You can tell that the proprietor takes care of every little detail. Great place. Really delicious appetizers. Great menu. Extensive wine list.Good selection of craft brews and the Guinness was fresh. A small town gem. Reminds me of NYC. Try the Mussels and the Grilled shrimp.

Awesome eats. Extensive martini list. I had the warm goat cheese salad and sesame encrusted Tuna....it was so good. Also the Risotto Balls and everything else we had on the table was excellent. Top notch, New Years, a little pricey

Jill, was not very attentive. She came to see us once after we placed our order. The fish tacos where not crispy, the sauce on them was overpowering. The best part was the Truffle fries, thoes where delicious. Over all the meal was ok, but not fantastic.

2 for 1 tequila margaritas, cannot beat it!

Amazing dining experience every time! Their food is top notch, incredible flavor and presentation. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My Husband and I come here at least once a week. We enjoy both their lunch and dinner menu. Definitely check out their <<ancient grains bowl>> my favorite meal EVER!

Friendly staff and allergy friendly. Got sat down right away and helped immediately. A good selection for gluten free food and tasted wonderful. It was very peaceful and had a nice atmosphere. Will definitely be going back.

Favorite place in Plattsburgh! The fries with parmesan and truffle oil are a must. I loves their tuna tartar and crab cakes. There are vegan and gluten free options ! The service is great and on week-ends, a music group is playing. There is a great vibe. I will go back and you should try this place!

Made reservation for 5 for the Thanksgiving Buffet. The food was excellent with no exceptions. However was very disappointed in being seated in the back room at a long table for 8 next to a very loud party of 20. We had a difficult time having any conversation whatsoever. There were tables available in the adjoining dining area for 5 and why we were placed where we were seems like poor management. It certainly made a difference in the enjoyment of our dining experience.

Would be five stars but for the overpricing and very loud atmosphere. Food is very good, but very limited menu selections. If you're looking for a quiet meal, find somewhere else, this place is very loud.

Went for Thanksgiving dinner. Most of the food looked & tasted great. Some of it had no flavor. Staff was very attentive & pleasant. We were overall pleased & we will be back there.
